For your own, I would suggest a handle on both sides of the brush to get the teeth in the correct direction.
Otherwise, it's better than my combs and as a preliminary before picking out my hair with my fingers. I have really thick hair, so trying to pick it all our from scratch is almost impossible.
Suggestion: Plat your air into sections first, oil your hair, and then gently work the brush through your hair.
Comb out your hair before and after washing to make it easier and reduce hair loss, most definantly";

pr[23].reviewBody = "This instrument is probably the most revolutionary thing to hit hair care in a very long time. Yes it looks a bit like a torture device. But you just have to put aside your fear and take a chance.
The Kakakiki Komb actually trains your hair to not tangle. I know that sounds weird but hear me out. Once you get the handling technique down you will be wonder where this was all your life.
I wish there was a video for the komb because there is a bit of a technique to it. And while it is simple it would actually be rather tricky to explain in text alone, but I will give it a shot.
Make sure that your hair is nice and soaked with your favorite moisturizing conditioner. If you have a regular wide tooth detangling comb and you have never used the kakakiki brush before, use that comb first on your hair and detangle as you normally would.
Then take the Kakakiki komb brush and go over the parts you just detangled with the regular comb. You do not use the komb brush in one sweep. Where you feel strong resistance you immediately stop, remove the komb, and the begin to komb again in the same direction. You will actually feel the tangles move through the komb and disperse as this is going on. At the same time you will notice your hair becoming smoother and smoother with every stroke.
But the key is to have nice moisturized hair to begin with - Saturated conditioned wetness. After your hair has been \"trained\" it will actually stay untangled for longer and longer periods of time. Now I don't even have to use a detangling comb in the shower before I use the komb brush. I just take the komb brush and apply it after putting in my conditioner. It just glides through the hair. ";

pr[24].reviewBody = "First I would like to give much respect to treasured locks because they are super efficient! The transaction went smoothly and I couldn't wait to tell you that. That said I am afraid I have to say that I cant 100% support the statements made concerning the kakakiki comb brush. I find that the hooks snag my hair worse than anything when raking over the surface as the instructions say. The tines are also too rigid. If I hit a knot I can't pull the comb out without breaking my hair or hearing a horrible snapping sound which is clearly my hair because I don't see broken tines and I do see hair in the comb. I think that this brush would benefit coarser hair because it is stronger. Unfortunately my hair is a mixture of very fine with occasional coarse strands and I just have a ton of strands! So when the hooks slide through my hair it can snag much more easily and when I stop at a tangle can easily snap my hair. As a result I just use it on the ends which it does in fact do a great job of detangling! Beyond that I have to go back to the standard Euro straight tine no tip brush. The instructions for the combbrush says use on moistened hair. I strongly recommend that people with hair like mine (alot of fine strands) only use it on dry hair with a little oil after it has dried overnight, which is when it's strongest and less susceptible to breaking or in my case tearing. Also just use it to detangle the ends. It really is excellent there! With my hair, massaging the scalp is unfortunately not likely. But getting a good starting detangling is. Not to trash kakakiki or anything because it does detangle my ends and I do recommend it for that, but I just don't want anyone to be disappointed if they are not running the brush over their full length. Allow me to add, my hair is literally alive and rebellious! ";
